Log Shipping over WAN problem

Hi,

I am trying to implement log shipping over a remote SQL server using FTP (the 2 servers are not in trusted domain). In the Share folder I tried to enter the ftp path in the format of ftp://ftp .. with no luck.

how can I implement log shipping using FTP in non trusted networks.

    Red Gate offers a simple free utility to copy files using ftp, named FTPTool. See this link for details. It provides a walk through of setting of log shipping using Red Gate's CopyTool utility, but the steps are almost similar to that if you used FTPTool.
