Slow startup and proxy issue

Hi,

We currently have two different issues since we upgraded to 12.
1. On a Windows 7 computer it takes very long to start ... up to 2 minutes. This happens also in Data Compare. We tried disabling the checking for updates on startup and also downloading the latest update, but it didn't help.
2. On WIndows 10 computer the speed is fine, but when trying to download updates it keeps failing. Even though it does go through the same proxy as the Windows 7 one.

    Hi fabrulana,

    Could you contact support@red-gate.com regarding this issue? Assuming you've already verified that your proxy is working correctly, this isn't expected behaviour from our products.

    One tool that might help diagnose the problem is Fiddler, would you like some help using it to look for a possible connection timeout?
