error saving project: the file has not been opened for writi

Hello all,

Just upgraded to version 12 and am having issues saving my 'Projects'. I am opening a previously created project and attempting to save it (we leverage the sort by on date to keep track of which databases have already been compared) however I receive the following error: "error saving project: the file has not been opened for writing".

This does not 100% hinder me from moving ahead however I can not see any way of resolving this issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks for your post and sorry to hear you're running into issues with SQL Compare!

    It sounds like you may not have Write access to the project file. Can you kindly double check the permissions on the project file and its containing to folder to make sure the user you're running as is allowed Write access?
