Cant checkin:object reference not set to instance of an obje

I have a database in source control for a while. Today when I tried to check in some changes I get an error saying "object reference not set to instance of an object".
Im using SSMS 2014, the database server is sql 2014 & sql source control is v 4.1.15.118
Can someone please help resolve this. I can provide further info, just let me know whats needed.
