Follow this guide to use SQLSnapper on the remote PC. You can create a snapshot, then bring it back to your PC to do the compare from your db against the snapshot.

I guess I could install SQL Compare on the remote machine, but what about licencing? I want to only purchase a single user license. Also I don't want other people getting a free pass to use SQL Compare on that machine. Presumably I could install SQL Compare, do the deployment and then uninstall it but that seems a lot of work.
Is there an easier way? Have you experience of other users with this requirement? What would you recommend?
many thanks
