Unable to open project due to server unavailable

Trying to open an exiting project connected to a no longer accessible SQL server.

I created this profile on my old laptop, installed everything to a new laptop, including the SQL databases but the PC name has changed.....

I am not given the opportunity to change the connection details.

It gives me an error :-

A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)

which I know is because the SQL Server is not reachable.... that's because the laptop name has changed....

    Obviously I can and did edit the xml to fix the server details (luckily I could also change to use integrated security as the password is encrypted.

    I shouldn't really have to edit the XML to get in so the app should ask to fix it or at least load and allow me to edit it.
