Profiling mode not changeable

I am choosing Attach to .NET 4+ process and selecting the w3wp process I want, but the Profiling Mode is not letting me do anything but "sampling mode". It also is showing a black triangle exclamation point icon next to it, but no idea where to see what its warning is.

How do I get it so it allows me to use a different profiling mode?

    So sorry the messaging isn't completely clear! The black triangle exclamation is essentially warning that "Attach to process uses sampling mode" as it's unfortunately not possible to use one of the other profiling modes (due to some technical limitations with .NET, we can only provide "Sampling" level results when you attach to process).
