Slow highlighting in SQL Server Management Studio 2008R2

Since updating to SQL Prompt 7 one area that is painfully slow is text highlighting. I takes seconds once highlighting text before the text is highlighted. This occurs when double clicking too. Is there anything that can be done to remove this significant delay?

    Hi jds73,

    I'm wondering if displaying the actions list hint is causing the slowdown. Could you try going to SQL Prompt->Options and untick "Show actions list for selected text" to see if that helps?

    That seems to be the problem. Unchecking that option solved the performance problem.
