multiple email addresses for a alert

  To send emails to more than one recipient, comma-separate the email addresses. To send emails to larger groups of people, use a mailing list.

  We use groupwise and do not have access to mailing list, is this some thing built into SQL response?

  No, it was just a generic recommendation for handling the case where you may have lots of email addresses you wish to be notified.

  I have been trying to use the multiple addresses for an alert which was causing a gmail server error 007

  problem and then I was searching for the fix. Then I have got to know that using comma you can send mail to multiple users.

  Yes comma separated lists also work in SQL Monitor.
