Error TF400324 - Team Foundation services are not available.

Hi I am getting this error "Error TF400324 - Team Foundation services are not available from server "http://unseen:8080/tfs/projectname" this is an old server name that was last used two or three years ago. there seems to be no way of dis-associating the database from this server now. I have source control working fine not with git but do not understand why I am getting this error?

    for anyone else having this issue the data is stored in the databases extended properties, I deleted them and now I am working fine.
