Error code 600 - No Email sent

I have a problem where when error code 600 is generated by SQL Backup no email is sent. I am currently using the MAILTO_ONERROR parameter. I have no issue receiving emails from SQL Backup with the error code is other error numbers. Is there anything that we can do to fix this issue? It would be very helpful if we could get an email from SQL Backup generated when it is Error Code 600 because 90% of the time this is the error that we get.
