Manual download/upgrade process from 4.0 -> 4.1

I'm running version 4.0.0.1728, and so far, there have been no prompts showing that a newer version is available (as expected from the upgrade documentation that details a prompt on the monitor page now that 4.1 is released).
Is there a supported method of manual download/install (the only one I've seen is the trial version)?

    Thank you for your post.

    Unfortunately, in some cases the prompt about the availability of a new version does not get displayed. This is a problem with the method that this uses and we are planning to fix it.

    In the meantime, the 'trial' download that you mention is the download to use. The only difference between trial and licensed, is that the tool has been activated. Simply download, install on the machine you already have the tool on and you should be good to go. You shouldn't need to reactivate either.
