I changed the default rule for my recomendation.
----
Default Template \ Fragmented Index
[ ] Disabled
[x] Enabled
Index Fragmentation more than [50]%
Only check indexes with more than [1000] pages.
[Save Changes]
----
The problem is that it's been a few hours. The recommendation has been checked a few times and I'm still seeing recommendations for fragmented indexes with less than 1000 pages.
I've gone back to confirm that my change is there by clicking [Edit Recommended Configuration]. My settings are there for the individual database, server, and default template.
The reason I want to increase to 1000 pages is because as soon as I rebuild indexes, they quickly show up again after a couple days. Most indexes have between 100 and 500 pages, and probably wouldn't make much of a difference regardless if they were rebuilt or reorganized. The larger ones concern me the most (over 1000 pages).
What do I need to do to make the rule take effect with my changes?
