Installation instructions and best practices

have 3 separate databases on 3 servers that I would like to back up. Where should sql backup be installed?

    SQL Backup needs to be installed on each SQL Server instance that your databases are attached to. If all 3 databases on attached to 3 different SQL Server instances, you need to install SQL Backup on all 3 SQL Server instances.
