I'm pleased to announce that a public beta of ANTS Performance Profiler 9 is now available. The key improvements are around understanding SQL Server's impact on .NET application performance. In particular:
-Having identified a slow query or stored procedure, you can now view its execution plan inside ANTS
-You can now see a lot more information about queries being executed, including the values of parameters, formatted to allow you to easily reproduce a slow database call
You can download the latest beta from
http://download.red-gate.com/EAP/ANTSPerformanceProfiler9Beta/ANTSPerformanceProfiler9Beta.exe. We'd really appreciate any feedback you have :-) Either leave a comment below or email dotnetteam at red-gate dot com.
By the way, as it's beta software this build will expire after 14 days.
Thanks!
Ben
