Comment section little confuse me

HI,
I have one question about comment section.
When I wont to 'Clear alert status', I have to enter 'Comment' field.

I can see that field later in 'Long running Query' (for example) comments section.

This is what confuse me.
Comment can be only inserted through 'Clear alert status'.
I have global list for all alerts in 'Long running Query' (one list for all LRQ alerts). But other data (SQL process detail, Perfomance snapshot and System processed) are depended for just one alert, and are changed when I scroll through list LRQ. This is really confused, because I expect for field comment in that section to be comment for that LRQ alert, not for clearing alart status.
It would be nice that I can insert comment into the LRQ alert (that I can later see my comment for the alert.

    Hi Radovan,

    I agree that it may be bit confusing. The 'Comments' section is common for an alert group whereas 'Performance snapshot', 'System processes' are specific to each alert.

    It may not be possible to make this changes for the v 1.0 but I am including it in our list of feature request for future version.

    I'm wondering if it could be as simple as associating a comment to the cleared alert is was associated to when it was made. Maybe a hyperlink in the comment to the cleared alert it's associated to.

    Just a thought...you may already have the bases covered on this enhancement so just ignore me if you do.

    I can see where one would like to have a comment associated with each alert event, but I would also like to see comments associated with the alert group as well. I believe that there is value in both.
