suggestions

I've been playing with SQL Response a little this afternoon and this is what I found:
1. When making changes in the configuration you have to press the save changes button but nothing warns you if you try and swtich items without saving. I personally would prefer it to save automatically but even a warning would be nice.

2. Save the show settings up at the top. I don't want to have to keep selecting Active Alerts everytime I open the client. This is all I want to see.

3. When making a change to the time in the long running query (probably true in other areas too) I changed it from 10 to 30 and I had to click in another field in order to get the save button to appear.

4. It would be nice to be able to ignore some alerts or recommendations for certain jobs or Databases. For instance, I don't care if the zATC database is backed up but I care about all the other ones on the server. I don't want to keep clearing these out. Or I don't care if the replication cleanup jobs don't start are take longer but I care about others.

over all I like the product alot.[/list]

    You should be able to do this - if you go to the "configure a server" tab then you should be able to expand the sever, expand the alert you're interested in and then see a list of jobs or databases and then you can customize the values for ones you want to behave differently.

    thank you very much. I was able to edit my configuration but I have one request can the list of Databases or jobs be in alphabetical order?
