not working in SELECT, working in FROM

My query is not showing columns when hitting "." in the SELECT part of the query

Other functionality works (caps, AS etc)

It is working fine in the FROM part.

Occurs in SQL2008 and SQL2005.

Have tried refreshing cache, reconnecting.

Query runs ok

    Hi,

    Are you trying to use alias or does it fail when you try to qualify the column names using table names?
    Can you give me an example of a query that causes this issue so that it helps me understand the issue?
