I have attached a video of what happens with two different examples to reproduce this bug.
You will also notice in first part of video I had a bit of trouble getting anything to show in the results window (side issue) it took a few attempts of highlighting the timeline to get it happening.
in both cases I ran a function in the application and tried to see what code was being executed/profiled
at the end of the video you will see that performing a minor task does yield results, so it is really bizzare. I tried to change between CPU/Wall clock, i tried looking at with source vs all, I also tried the insignificant methods.
