Hi,

I'm having trial problem after installing new version of my operating system. I evaluated the product for about a week before I had to install new service pack as everything broke on .net framework. After reinstalling the compare tells me trial expired even though there is atleast one more week of trial time! Input on how to solve this is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Torsten,

    If you've happened to have installed .Net Framework 2.0 Beta, you may be out of luck as this seems to cause that problem with the demo timeout.

    Otherwise, I'll send you the instructions for extending your demo via email, if that's alright.

    In the end, this was not happening because of the .NET Framework 2 beta, but rather a problem with Framework 1.1 that was setting the trial inception date to 1/1/1970 in some cases. We had fixed this in later versions.
