SQL Backup "Standard" no longer available ?

Hi - we have 3 copies of version 5.2.0.2825 in "standard" guise that we purchased about 6 months ago.

I notice that this version is no longer available - its either "lite" or "pro"

We appear to have a unique set of features that are no longer available, like 128bit encryption for instance (its currently either no encryption for "lite" users or 256bit encryption for "pro" users)

Do we still have a "proper" version ? should we upgrade to "pro" ?

    Hi Dom,

    Thank you for your question. You are quite right; we no longer sell SQL Backup Standard.

    SQL Backup Pro offers you the choice of 128 or 256bit encryption. It also offers a host of further useful features which can be found at the following link: http://www.red-gate.com/products/SQL_Ba ... arison.htm

    You can choose to continue using your Standard licenses with no issues at all, and also renew your support and upgrades contract. However, I highly recommend upgrading to our Pro version to benefit from the extra functionality. I am prepared to offer you a great deal if you do upgrade.
