Way to Map New Field

For example, I have the field Date in db1, but I know the name of teh field has changed to BDate. is there a way to tell the compare program that these are the same fields and to ignore the difference. Also is there a way in the Data compare to tell the program that they are the same?

    Hi,

    I'm afraid the answer is no on both counts. SQL Compare can't pick and choose which columns to compare in the table and Data Compare required all columns compared to have an identical name.

    This is also scheduled to be addressed in one of the upcoming versions of the software. We'd very much like to do some kind of object/owner remapping in the future.
