Can't use any of the compare bundle on a Mac

I have a MacBook Pro with a bootcamp partition running Windows XP 2. I bought the SQL Compare Bundle a couple of months ago. As I have switched to this new laptop I installed the package on Windows but can't get any of the applications working. They crash during the start up, with a exception message.

My only guess is that it's assuming something about the hardware, maybe for license or similar checks, and crashing as the macbook hardware has some differences.

Just to make it clear: it fails if I used it through VMWare and fails when I boot on Windows as well.

    Hi there,

    A small number of customers were experiencing exceptions on start up with SQL Compare v5, so it might not be down to your hardware. We hope to addressed the majority of these start up issues in our current beta release which available here:

    Jonathan, I assume that the beta is limited to a period of time. I havent bought the SQL bundle with the option for upgrade. How is this going to be handled?
