Hi there,
Can you confirm that you are connecting to the databases using a user who is a member of the database owner role in both databases?
Thanks,
Jonathan -
dbo for both databases.

Okay thanks, it is always best to check these things,
If you send the db to jonathan [dot] watts [at] red [dash] gate [dot] com, I will take a look at it. As SQL Prompt uses SQL Compare, you probably have the same issue in both applications.
Regards,
Jonathan -
Script emailed.
Thanks Jonathan.

The DB concerned (is NOT my design!) uses object names that are reserved words, e.g., [Group], [User]. I can send you the entire DB create script (all objects) as it's only 56K.
BTW: SQL Prompt v3.1 cannot retrieve the database schema "Schema Retrieval Failed" doalog pops up during schema refresh. Management Studio has no problems...!
