Hi Jwalant,
Unfortunately SQL Prompt 2 can be very memory hungry, and has a couple of problems with it that mean it can use memory even when you're apparently not doing anything. We have now discontinued SQL Prompt 2 so there will be no further releases of the product. The best thing I can suggest is that you give SQL Prompt 3 a whirl. It supports Query Analyzer, SQL Server Management Studio and SQL Server Management Studio Express Edition and runs as a plug-in rather than a background task so it will only consume memory when you're using your SQL editor.
Hope that helps.
Thanks,

Dear Brat, thanks for the help. weill i have tried with sql prompt 3 but its not free and the 3.1 rc i think is not free. and the behaviour of sql prompt 2 of eating memory is worst from last 7-8 days i think otherwise it was consuming between 20-30 mb and was fine for me. now it also hangs the computer.

That IS true: the new one's a big improvement but it's no longer free. Only thing I can think of with 2 is have you tried clearing the cache? This might or might not help, but worth a try probably.
Thanks,
Bart
