Support Column Refactoring?

I am looking to purchase this product and before I start an eval I had a quick question. Does the product support column refactoring? For example, I have a column named CustomerName, and I refactor this to CustomerFirstName and CustomerLastName. Does the tool add these columns and provide me with a way to split the data into the two columns?

    Hi John,

    We have SQL Refactor, which can do a 'smart rename' of tables, but SQL Compare always wants to drop the old column and create a new one with the new name.
