Dear All,
This is so bizarre I thought it was probably worth posting a sticky about it. If you use TextPad to manually edit your "EngineOptions.xml" (for example, to change the TabSize setting which is currently not exposed via the UI), and this very likely also applies to your "SQL Prompt 3 Snippets.xml" file, SQL Prompt 3 will refuse to read this file and will overwrite it with the default settings. This means that not only will you lose your settings, but you'll also lose any user-defined aliases you've set up.
At this stage we don't know why this is happening, and we won't be investigating it for the 3.0 release due to time constraints, but we haven't experienced this with any other editors we use here (Notepad, PSPad, Notepad++) so I would simply suggest using another editor should you need to modify this file manually.
Many thanks,
Bart
