OK thanks Jerry. I don't see this but I think I might know what the problem is. What's your default font, style and size please? Theoretically it shouldn't matter, however the About box is a fixed size dialog because the image is a fixed size so I can see how it would cause problems: also for the Options dialog actually.

Hi Jerry,
Quick update. I've now tried playing around with the Display Properties dialog. I've changed themes, set Extra Large fonts, changed the font sizes that are available in the Advanced settings dialog under Appearance.... and I still can't get this to happen, so the question is: what have you done to my beautiful application? <weeps>
Thanks,
Bart -
which font spec are you referring to?
inside ssms, courier new, plain, 10pt
windows screen properties - large dpi -
Hi Jerry,
I think it's actually something much simpler than that: on our dev machines the version number on the About dialog doesn't generally contain the build number, unless we're running SQL Prompt 3 from an installer, hence we never see the problem. Not so sure about the Options dialog though.
Cheers,
Bart
