Brackets around table and column names.

In v2.0 SQL Prompt did not put the [] around the table names and column names. Is there a way to turn this feature off?

I know it is technically correct, and actually required for spaces, but I like my Stored Procs to be in a nice visually easy to read layout. To me the brackets are distracting.

I think this is annoying as well. I can't imagine why it's the default, as I've never seen brackets used by anyone except non-professionals who didn't know enough not to put spaces in the names.

Anyway, it's easy to turn off. Just bring up the SQL Prompt Options. Go to the 3rd tab, "Style". Under "Formatting" is a checkbox that says "Surround with brackets []".

    Thanks! Much better!

I agree, my opinion is that this shouldn't be the default. At least it's easy to turn off.

:D ROFL. If only everyone thought the same way you did our lives would have been sooooo much easier over the past 6 months.
