                   PDinCA, PDinCA,
That's not the correct version. It should 818 (or 819 - off the top of my head I can't remember).
Can you exit the tray app, and then restart it from the SQL Prompt program files folder.
It's some weirdness that happens - for some reason Windows will sometimes let you overwrite files (or delete them) even when they're loaded.

Do you have the process name(s) and dll's I could unload so I can be sure to kill every vestage off, please? Would it be safe to uninstall and reinstall if my options can be preserved? Do you have the process name(s) and dll's I could unload so I can be sure to kill every vestage off, please? There's no executable in the C:\Program Files\Red Gate\SQL Prompt 3 folder other than those for Query Analyzer and I'm using SSMS...

Uninstalled and Reinstalled and build# is now 819 - Thanks. Uninstalled and Reinstalled and build# is now 819 - Thanks.
The EngineOptions.xml file was wiped when I restarted SSMS, so all my 130+ User-defined aliases went west...
I'll have to hack the file by hand I guess...
Any chance you could IMPROVE the Installer for future releases so that it preserves at least this section...

I ask because upon install the "You can only run one version of this product" message came up... SSMS was closed at the time.
Please confirm or correct. Thanks
