I just started having a problem when opening QA. When opening the QA screen appears for a split second and then closes without showing any error. This happens only when I have SQL Prompt 3 running. Once I close SQL Prompt and try to open QA it works. What can I do to figure out what's happening?

OK thanks, we're aware of a problem that causes QA to crash, although we're not sure why. We've been having some difficulties reproducing it, however one of our customers who lives relatively near by has lent us a machine on which this problem occurs so we're going to try to get to the bottom of it after Christmas.

Thanks Aaron, you too. The one thing I would suggest is you could try reinstalling SQL Prompt 3 and or the SQL Server 2000 client tools to see if that makes any difference. Of course the whole thing could have been nobbled by a recently installed OS patch although this does seem unlikely because I'd expect the problem to be more widespread if this were the case.
