Hi,
Sorry about the problems you are having. Could you tell me what version of Mangement Studio you are using, and what language it is?
Regards,
Tilman -
Hi,
I am running Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 9.00.1399.00 in English (not sure if there is an English (Australian) option, but if there is, that is what it would be!)

Hi,
I've added an issue to our system, now. You haven't got our SQL Refector installed by any chance? If so, are you getting the same problem?
Cheers,
Tilman -

If you try the latest build

I can no longer access the SQL prompt menu. I have downloaded the final beta refresh and did a repair. Still not working.

It sounds like your version of prompt hasn't been upgraded properly. Could you try uninstalling SQL Prompt rebooting and then installing the beta refresh. That should restore the menu. If that seems like to much work then you can run
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Binn\VSShell\Common7\IDE\SqlWb.exe /setup
which will restore the SQL Prompt menu but will not definatly mean you are running the latest version

I found another post that mentioned the menu not being available for users other than the one SQL prompt was installed for, but i am the only person that uses this computer, and it was definitely installed logged in as me! That said, the fix from the other post (running some setup file) did fix the problem the first time, but honestly, i dont want to have to do that every couple of days! How about bringing back the menus/options when you right click on the SQL Prompt icon in the task bar?
i am a fan of the program, but v3 seems to have introduced as many issues as it has fixed! Is a bit frustrating!
