Installing New Backup Agent

I uninstalled Version 4 backup agent from test server and attemtped to install new agent through the GUI and install fails on "Check installed versions". version found comes up as 0.0.0.0 and expects 5.x

    There are a few known problems with the remote install in the beta, I would image you have hit one of those. This can happen when the install was unable to get enough permissions to install on the server remotely. If you copy c:\program files\red gate\sql backup\sqbserversetup.exe to the remote server and run in manually it should install without any problems.

    I recieve the same errors as kzaltman when attempting to use the install/upgrade from within the GUI to install the server components on my second instance of sql server on my local machine.
    MyMachine\(local)               SQL Server 2005 Dev instance
MyMachine\SQLEXPRESS            SQL Server 2005 Express instance

    During the initial install of the beta I installed the server components into the (local) / default instance.

    Runing the SQBServerSetup.exe tool installs the components into the SQLEXPRESS instance ok.
