Installing on cluster service

I have been trying to get SQL Backup installed on a cluster service with little luck. It seems to have installed on the passive node but when I try and perform a backup it says SQLCLUSTER does not have SQL Backup installed. Do you want to install... I say yes and attempt to use the same domain account that the SQL service is running under but the setup tells me the username could not be verified.

I was a little hesitant at installing it on the active node until I get the passive setup correctly :)

Any help would be most appreciated.

    Hi,

    Cluster installations can be problematic, and I don't recommend deploying the server components using the console in this case. You should really remote desktop to each node, copy SQBServerSetup.exe from the SQL Backup program folder, and run it from the console of each node. You can get the full scoop from this topic:
