Well that very much depends on what you mean by "deliberately". It's deliberate in the sense that I didn't have time to add any more before this release, however I'm intending to correct that before the final release.
Now, any additional snippets you add will be preserved as long as they don't clash with a default snippet with the same shortcut, and therefore when you upgrade to the final release I'd recommend that you first make a backup of the "SQL Prompt 3 Snippets.xml" file which you'll find under %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Red Gate\SQL Prompt 3. You can then merge your newly created snippets back in using the good old cut and paste method, or using a tool like WinMerge (which is free and downloadable from SourceForge). You'll need to change the shortcuts first though so that they're different from any other shortcuts, otherwise your duplicate snippets will be discarded.

Time-crunch understood... Hoped that was the case...
Thanks for the tip to load them myself...
@, allowing the user to assign "regular" acronyms/mnemonics, thus obviating clashes... Any chance you could consider some similar convention? -
@ because that's used by some of SQL Server's built in functions. But maybe we could consider __ or something. However, might that not be somewhat irritating for commonly used snippets such as "ssf"?
Thanks,

You could of course send in your favourite snippets, then we could put them in the release...
In fact, if anybody has any snippets they think are essential, now is the time to contribute!

Definitely, please do.

How about you set up a "Sticky" for "Snippet Contributions"?

Will the real product have a more complete set?
If I load a bunch now, will they be preserved when you go live? If not, is there an XML/ini file I can snag them from before I update? (Or even load them into as a shortcut
