BUG FIX REQUEST - Fix for CLR sync dependency issue (easy)

As reference in this now locked post: http://www.memoryprofiling.com/MessageB ... php?t=3546

Seriously...it's a piece of cake to take ID's from the catalog view "sys.assembly_references" and put them in the proper order.

This is a pretty serious bug in a product purporting to synchronize SQL 2005 CLR assemblies. Dependency checking, when it is so simple, should not be left to random chance (as it is apparently now with CLR assemblies).

When is the next point version with the next round of bug fixes going to to be built and available for download?

    Hello,

I can't say if support for assembly dependencies will appear in the next version, but there is a general awarenesss of the issue and we are working to support it.

We may include a fix for this in SQL Compare 5.3. I'm not totally sure yet. Stay tuned!

Wonderful! This will make things go so much more smoothly in our department here.

It's really nice to have a company that is responsive to user requests for fixes.

    Thanks for the announcement!
