New Line in Mgmt Studio isn't hard line brk aftr LayOut SQL

I've tried every setting I can find for Refactor and the SS2K5 MS Options and still whenever I copy a script that has been refactored, the CR-LF turns into a soft line break so the formatting is scrambled into a long unreadable line in SSIS's SQL Editor and in a regular text editor - including Notepad!

The same behavior was first evidenced when I copy-pasted Robyn Page's SQL Server DATE/TIME Workbench article from Simple Talk.

There must be a simple solution - do tell, please... As it is, Refactoring to Lay Out SQL is USELESS (sadly)!

    Hi,

thanks for reporting this problem. The above issue is one that we are aware of and believe to have fixed in our internal builds. The whole purpose of the beta program was to find such problems, and constructive feedback is always appreciated. We are now in the final stages of preparation for the release of SQL Refactor, and hope to release it early next week (with the above issue, together with most of the other issues that came up on this forum, resolved).

    Kind regards,
    Andras
