It would be really helpful to have two checkbox: "First column placement/On a new line (except subqueries)" and "First column placement/On a new line (subqueries only)"

Hi Marco,
We have frozen the features for this release which will be out on the 31/10. We do not support exceptions directly for various statement types, however you might want to have a look at the option Data Statements -> Subquery placement -> Force short subqueries on a single line.
This option compacts subqueries only if they contain maximum a certain amount of characters. (This certain amount can be specified on the same options pane too).

I already use it, but the problem is really that I would like to have different settings for long subqueries.
Take a note for the next release :-)

Hi Marco,
I will include this for consideration for the future versions.
