I just wanted to say thanks to all of your for taking part in our beta program. It's been a hugely useful experience for us and we've been able to make various changes to the product that would not have been possible had we waited to run the beta. I realise that many of you have come to expect Red Gate betas to be almost of production quality, however if we'd waited to get to that stage before running this beta there's no way we would have been able to incorporate as much of your feedback so we appreciate your patience with this release.
I also wanted to make a quick apology for the slightly inglorious timebomb expiry that most of you will by now have experienced. We documented the time limitation in the release notes, however I should probably have made more of a song and dance about that on this forum. So again, sorry for any inconvenience this causes. I'd suggest the best thing to do is uninstall the beta and then follow the instructions on this sticky for removing the SQL Prompt menu from SQL Server Management Studio:

Unfortunately we won't be able to run another beta due to the overhead in doing so and the short duration of the project. However a release candidate will be available in mid-October. We'll be making this available to beta testers first with the plan being to release it to you guys on a Friday, and then do a more public release early in the following week.
Finally, everyone who has provided feedback will receive a Red Gate USB key, with the 10 best providers of feedback receiving a box of Red Gate goodies and a free copy of SQL Prompt 3. We'll be getting in touch with you about this sometime after the beta and before the final release.
Again, thank you very much for taking part in the SQL Prompt 3, and an especially big thanks to those of you who've provided feedback on this forum.
