Feature request: Fine tune auto-popup

I would like to have the ability to specify when the auto-popup comes up. I have worked with it disabled for awhile but I do miss it. When I have it set to auto-popup, it gets annoying when it pops up more than I want it to.

Could we have options, similar to the "Completion Keys", where only after certain "key strokes" would the candidate list popup. For example, I would like to see it auto-popup after a Tab but not a Space Bar. With this flexibility, I can always use Ctrl-Space to get fill in any gaps.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the suggestion. I'm afraid this will probably not happen in version 3. I do agree with you, however, that the auto-popup is too aggressive. My current thinking is, that it should only pop up on non-white space characters, like in Resharper.
