SQL Prompt appears not to work in SQL Query Analyser

Hi,

Sorry if this is already posted / fixed, can't find it in the forum, so here goes.

I have SQL Prompt 3.0.0.300 only installed, also SQL Query Analyser 8.00.944 and SQL Server Management Studio 9.00.1399.00 installed.

I have some 2K SQL Servers and some 2K5 SQL Servers.

When I open QA and point it at a 2K server (Windows Authentication), the SQL Prompt taskbar window appears and seems to be reading schema from SQL server. There's a SQL Prompt menu and in options it's enabled. When I change DB, the window pops up again and reads schema, etc, BUT, when I try to get some intellisense, nothing happens...

SELECT - nothing at all

SELECT CTRL+SPACE pops up SP window, but there's no candidates listed at all.

Everything seems to work fine in SMS, but I tend to use QA a lot more....

Any help, much appreciated.

Thanks.

    Hi,

Thanks for posting. I'm afraid what DaveTheWave said is true. We only noticed right before the release and decided not to fix it.

Thanks guys. I was aware of the only in first window issue, but was trying to get the candidate list to appear by pressing space / ctrl+space immediately after a sql statement - discovered that I need to press space and then ctrl+space. Sorry guys, but thanks for your help.
