I concur -- once you've typed in the alias and pressed ".", you should see only the columns from the aliased table.

Thankyou for the feeback. That should definatly give you a list of columns like in v2. We have done some major work on the parser since version 2 and as you can see it is still a little rough round the edges. All this will be ironed out before the final release. The beta is definatly not ready for everyday use yet but we wanted to show people something to make sure that we were moving in the right direction with UI and the feature set.

I've turned OFF all the Options except the 300 ms delay. All "Completion Keys" are checked. I expected a candidate list from OrderDetail immediately after the dot... I get the "All Common Objects" list - useless! Ctrl+right arrow gets me "All Tables" - useless! Any other list - useless!
All I want is the column list like v2.1 used to give me - pretty basic...
Shutdown MS. On restart, it failed to recognize the SELECT but did see the FROM. Still NO column list for my alias...
What's up? :shock:
