I had the SQL Prompt beta version installed. Our dept recently purchased a 4 user license for the new SQL Prompt release. I installed the new release without uninstalling the beta version and got the above message when I tried to open SQL Prompt. So I uninstalled all versions, then installed the new version, but I'm still getting this message. How do I fix this?

It sounds like the beta version was still running when you installed the new version. If you bring up task manager and in the processes tab you need to look for the RedGate.SQLPrompt and kill the process. If you have rebooted already it should just work.

I knew it had to do with the fact I didn't uninstall the beta version first, but didn't think about the fact it might still be running. That fixed it, thanks!
