Could not invoke SQL Prompt 2 in SQL Server 2000

I installed the Prompt 2 on Win2000 server SP4, and within the same computer runs SQL Server 2000 + SP4. Since my Windows is a Chinese edtion, so the shortcut CTRL+Space is for invoke the IME, then the Prompt 2 could not be invoked by pressing these two keys now. The droplist would be displayed even I press the dot key.

And, when I select the Always prompt for authentication check box, there is no dialog box displayed at all.

How to get it worked properly then?
