Qualify Object Names takes excessive amount of time

When I type in a simple query: select * from tablename, and I execute the Qualify Object Names command, it takes at least 1 minute to return. This is on a DB with 818 tables. If I execute it against a stored procedure with multiple table references, it takes 2 or more minutes, but not more than 3 I think.

    I agree. Even on my laptop server (with only a few databases) it takes about a minute. At the very least some indication that something is taking place would be nice.

    Thank you for your feedback. In this CTP version we have not done much performance tuning. In the next beta version we will have a progress dialog displayed, and the speed should also impove.
