Views and a suggestions

I currently find that when I create new views the inttelisense is not picking up any of the user created views in a database instance.

I am not sure if this is a known bug (I haven't trawled though all the posts yet).

A number of people have mentioned configuration, but ideally it would be something that could be done at the same time as the database engine hookups so that we only have one set of connections and authentication for the SQL management studio and SQL prompt authentication.

    Hi Ravi,

Thanks for posting. Are you clearing the cache after you have created the views? Currently SQL Prompt isn't clever enough to notice when you add new objects to the database. You therefore have to manually clear the cache to prompt SQL Prompt to cache the database again. (To clear the cache go to the Options dialog > Status tab > Clear cache button.)

I'm not totally sure what you mean by your second comment. Could you explain that a bit more?

    Regards,
