Hi Guy,
Thanks for posting.
re 1) This has already been added for version 3, you'll be glad to hear.
re 2) I will suggest it.
re 3) Have a look at this thread:

@ symbol could be used to create a snippet that would allow for multiple suggestions to be displayed when typed and CTRL+SPACE was used. I take it that all these cool features have been removed from 2.0 so they can be sold in 3.0. I already paid for them and lost them when I "upgraded" to 2.0. That stinks. Not to mention that the version notes on 2.0 say that the product was only improved from PromptSQL 1.4 to SQLPrompt 2.0. I don't see the removal of those features as an improvement.
Finally, to top it off SQLPrompt 2.0 wiped out my PromptSQL 1.4 install, as well as all my snippets. But I will have to re-create them anyway since there is no snippet export/import on 2.0. -
Hi,
sorry about the problems you're having. I agree that the version notes are not totally correct, and the installer isn't the best, either. We didn't remove features so we could sell version 3, though. I talked to the developer who worked on version 2, and he claims those features were out already when we got the code, possibly after feedback from our usability engineer. So it's not ideal, but not as malicious as you claim. Also, all 1.4 users will get the price they paid for 1.4 deducted from the price of version 3.
Regards,
Tilman

2) Also, It would trwmendously useful to have the ability to save the snippets o the network so they can be shared by all developers.
3) there seems to be a problem with special characters embedded in the snippet. For example, P_UTL_SP d, '%ant% ' has the following test result: P_UTL_SP d, 'ant (the % and the quote marks are removed)
