I installed SQLPrompt 2.
Tried it in Query Analyzer.
Tried it in VS 2003 IDE
Noticed that page down caused your popup window to scroll and unfortunately the VS IDE window as well.
Switched back to QA (both running simultaneously) noticed that same problem occurred in QA.
Rebooted machine, all seems to work perfectly now. I can’t make it fail again.
In conclusion:
I am sure of the problem (I was wide awake and paying attention to nothing else).
If this turns out to be a problem resolved by rebooting after installation, then it hardly seems worth our time beyond my letting you know it happened.
If it crops up again, I’ll see if I can get some detail for you.
Nice product. Sorely needed. Hope the cost isn’t prohibitive for version 3. Thank you so much for making version 2 free forever; just in case I can’t afford version 3 (I’ll no doubt suffer version envy of those who can.)
Now that I’ve found Red-Gate and seen what you can do, I am going to have to evaluate your other products as well.
