Greetings, I'm having a blast with your new product, but it would be even better if I didn't have to TAB to activate my Auto Insert snippets. I'd *strongly* prefer the ability to use a SPACE.

Hi,
thanks for your suggestion. Maybe we could do this as an option. The problem is that identifiers can be the same as snippets. Imagine somebody having a table called 'ssf'. If you write something like 'select * from ssf ', that would be expanded to select * from select * from'.

Spaces as an OPTION would work.
Please, this is very important! As of now, the utility of snippets is *greatly* attenuated. I hardly ever use tabs except at the very beginning of lines, and even though my default tabs are 4 spaces, having to backspace three times after every snippet hugely compromises the utility.
BTW, I was involved in a customer advisory panel a few months ago in Redmond where I pleaded for this feature.
I understand what you're saying, but my workaround is to use two different snippets depending on what I want--the alias or the table name. I've long used AutoCorrect in MS Office for db, table, & SProc names, so I'm completely aware of this "problem".
For example, in Word, I use the following mappings:
dpv > DPV
dpvv > dbo.tlbDataProfileValue
...many others...
Though this might strike someone is unwieldy, in fact it works quite well.
Thanks!
