Firstly I want to thank you for releasing this great tool for free use.
I am however experiencing a problem with using it in Query Analyzer, the only place I have tried it. The problems I was experiencing were erratic, sometimes occurring and sometimes not. What was happening was that the intellisense lists were appearing as they should but the behaviour on pressing tab or enter to complete a selection was not always correct. Sometimes the name was entered correctly and the cursor was positioned after it so typing could continue. Sometimes however it appeared that the selection was completed but a portion of it (that varied in length) was then removed from the end as if several backspaces were issued. The focus would then leave the editor window so typing could not continue without using the mouse to place the focus back in the editor window. Sometimes a portion of the entered name left behind was highlighted but not always.
I use a variety of tools to customise my work environment and suspected that one of these might be causing SQL Prompt to exhibit this behaviour. I run an open source virtual desktop manager called
Virtual Dimension and thought this was the most likely cause of a conflict so I disabled it and tested SQL Prompt again but was unable to cause a re-occurrence of the erroneous behaviour. So it seems that SQL Prompt is affected in some way by Virtual Dimension. Virtual Dimension itself continues to work as it should.
I realise that you may not place a high priority on addressing this as it will affect a small subset of users, there is a workaround and your developers are likely to be focusing on other products that are not free. However I thought I should bring it to your attention in the hope that you are able to address it and release a fix for the problem.
